  My Wife Now Questions God

  well my wife and i have been through a roller coaster of life since i convinced her the dibs werent the truth.

  the hardest tests have been lived but we are closer than ever now.

  now recently shes read "the shack" nd watched some movies about god and just cant seem to inderstand why god would allow all of this suffering just to prove to satan that hes "the man" (or woman).

  so i know there are so many who have been victims of issues with members of the watchtower who have been hurt by elder males in a ladershop role, ergo pedophiles..... but lets just ask.... what if you were a husband to a wife who engaged in internet connections with a 17 or 15 year old boy?

  when the elders found out they looked out for your wife and just saw it as a fleshly issue and the others jw parent refused to press charges?

  as an outsider and looking at it as an older male to female encounter i felt enraged..."thats my daughter!!!!

  half a million refugees are on the move ahead of sunni jihadists in northern iraq.. the speed of the advance is startling.

  the iraqi army seems to be impotent.

  the government's attempt to declare a state of emergency had to be abandoned when insufficient mps turned up to vote.. the insurgents are just 60 miles from baghdad this evening.

  i must admit i can at times be a little "egotistical" when it comes to knowledge and the bible.

  i have studied the bible for so long and have always had a passion for the bible as a jw and as an ex-jw.

  i guess that is all i have left when it comes to religion and as humans we do tend to stroke our egos.

  so this is the ultimate dilemma.

  my wife and i are on the same page.

  do we fade, in which all our friends, and i stress friends call us and feel sick and hurt and hurt and we feel guilty; or do we da so we tell the wt what we see as wrong as what we see that lead us to believe its a false religion; or do we df and let me or my wife let them catch us at some wrong doing and stop going to meetigs..... .
